Armory Center for the Arts is pleased to present Valises for Camp Ground: Arts, Corrections, and Fire Management in the Santa Monica Mountains. This exhibition features ten small, mixed media travel suitcases (also known as "valises") created during a long-term collaboration between artist Kim Abeles and the female inmates of Camp 13—a correctional facility in the Santa Monica Mountains for women who are trained and deployed to fight forest fires throughout the region.

Armory Center for the Arts is located at 145 North Raymond Avenue in Pasadena, CA. The Armory's Community Room Gallery is open daily 12:00 to 5:00 PM (closed Tuesdays and holidays). Admission is always free.
